A year at our school
Multicultural week-Every year our school community comes together to celebrate the cultures, languages, and traditions that make Waitara extraordinary. This is not a single day on the calendar. It is a reflection of who we are every day.
Book Week-Every August, Waitara comes alive with costumes, characters, and a genuine love of reading. Book Week is one of our favourite times of the year, and the creativity our students bring never fails to surprise us.
Music Soiree's-Our Music Soirées are among the most anticipated events on the Waitara calendar. Students of all ages perform with genuine skill and pride, and the atmosphere in the room never fails to move you.

Author visits-There is something special about a child meeting the person behind the book they love. Our author visits bring storytelling to life, spark a love of reading and writing, and remind our students that real people create the stories that matter to them.
100 Days of Kindergarten-One hundred days of new friendships, big discoveries, and growing confidence. This milestone celebration marks how far our newest Waitara students have come since their very first day, and gives us all a chance to reflect on just how much can change in one hundred days of belonging somewhere wonderful.
Music Festivals-Our choirs and bands don't just perform for their school community, they take their music beyond our gates. Competing and performing at local and regional music festivals, our students experience the thrill of a real stage, a real audience, and the pride that comes from representing Waitara at their very best.
